Carrot Cake with Chocolate Icing

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 medium carrots, grated
4 eggs
2 cups sugar

2 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
For the Icing:
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
Instructions:
For the Cake:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
In a blender, combine grated carrots, eggs, and oil. Blend until smooth.
Add sugar to the carrot mixture and blend for an additional 5 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking powder.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the carrot mixture, stirring gently until well combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
